Ayer me preocupé por saber cómo estaban mis amigos de Grecia y por averiguar porque Atenas está ardiendo. La información que llega desde allí es como siempre, difusa y dispar, por lo tanto me intereso por oír lo que ellos que lo viven en primera persona me cuentan. Por ello recibo feedback de Syni Pappa, Tony Danis y Gregorious.

Sus testimonios son brutales y algunos casos como en el de mi amiga cineasta Syni, narrados de una manera limpia y precisa, o sea que os paso con sus mensajes y con el material que he montado para retratar el conjunto.

¿Que hay detrás de esta violenta expresión del pueblo griego?

Creo que una mezcla de cosas, una mezcla que está en el colectivo de todo occidente, en la base de su masa social, una mezcla explosiva y pertinente que en momentos como estos nos recuerdan porque hay que gritar, revelarse, luchar.

Creo que no será la Griega la última de este tipo de manifestaciones que veremos en poco tiempo.

Y quizás caigan gobiernos, ministros y gabinetes, no nos menospreciéis, el ser humano occidental aunque está dormido, a veces despierta,

y de muy malas pulgas.

Estimado Ferran,

es como una guerra civil.

La policía mató a un niño el sábado en mi barrio Exarchia.

El niño maldijo a la policía, los policías abandonaron el coche y dispararon al chico en el corazón.

Fue un chico de 16 años, un punk que bebia cervezas fuera de un bar.

Una hora después del asesinato Policías armados completamente han rodeado todas las calles del barrio.

(Nos sucede que es un barrio que tiene un cierto aire anti-autoridad de cultura en la que vivimos. La Policía quiere imponer terror poniendo policía en cada esquina desde hace años. Veo sus armas cuando cada día paseo hacia mi casa. Lo sé tambien he visto sangre)

Volver a los hechos.

El muchacho fue baleado alrededor de las 9.00 horas. Estuvimos allí alrededor de 10 personas. Después 12 personas subieron a la plaza a protestar. Los guerreros se preparan por romper el apvimiento y tener piedras para utilizar como armas.

Podias oir el sonido de romperse las piedras.

Es como un ritual.

La Multitud que quería protesta comenzó a moverse hacia el barrio de Omonia.

Sin embargo, todas las calles estaban bloqueadas por la policía armada.

Bloques ardiendo por todas partes.

La gente tiene las armas y comenzó a patear a arrojar piedras y bombas incendiarias para hacerlos salir del barrio.

De 12 hasta las 2,30 más de 1000 personas se reunieron en el barrio de Omonia y las peleas estaban teniendo lugar en todas las calles.

La Policía se fue a casa alrededor de 4,30. La lucha se detuvo.

Domingo por la mañana 11.000 personas se reunieron para protestar por la muerte del muchacho a manos del oficial.

La demostración condujo a quemar y destruir totalmente todo tipo de propiedades(bancos, tiendas) en Alexandras Avenue.

Los manifestantes escaparon de las armas químicas y entraron en Exarchia.

En Exarchia se enfrentaron con las fuerzas Policiales en las calles hasta altas horas de la noche.

Las calles se cortan al tráfico y sólo puede ver los disturbios y los lugares de fuego a través de la calle vacía.

Lunes

Por la mañana los niños en las calles, fuera de la escuela.

Manifestaciones.

Ya se toman las universidades.

Una estación de metro es tomada tambien.

Todas las ciudades griegas se encuentran en la calle.
Una gran cantidad de departamentos de policía, fueron atacados tambien.

18,000 personas se reúnen en el centro de la ciudad para una demostración.

La multitud se vuelve cada vez mayor y comienza a ir al Parlamento a través de la plaza Omonia.

Todo está destrozado y ardiendo.

Bancos en primer lugar. Tiendas. Registro de tiendas. Zara y otras mierdas iguales, tiendas de armas, Kioscos, Hoteles de 5 estrellas, salas de cine, en Omonia el Banco Nacional arde. La gente trata de entrar.

Después de la demostracion de fuerza en la calle Panepistimiou, la manifestación sigue en movimiento a través de la ciudad, más de 10000 personas algunos dicen 15000.

Todo a su paso es roto y quemado.El Hotel Plaza y el Bretaña Hotel son atacados con múltiples bombas incendiarias.

Coches ardiendo.

El Ministerio del Interior atacado.

El ministerio de Economía es atacado tambien.

Otra estación de policía.

Después de la demostración final la gente sale a las calles destruyendo cada tienda en el centro de Atenas. Muchos de los edificios tiene en el fuego completo y fuera de control. La Unión de los Abogados griegos se quemó también.
Bomberos acudiendo a todas partes.

Yo voy por la plaza donde la gente bebe cerveza viendo el fuego.

Disturbios en todo el barrio.

El metro comenzar a tener demasiado fuego y arde.

El Decano de la Universidad de Atenas renuncia.

El ministro de la policía dice que están haciendo bien.

Con 15 años de edad, los niños están aplastando la ciudad, destruyendo las propiedades de la gente de 50 años de edad. Paradojico.

Los conservadores piden más Policía.

Propietarios de tiendas de enloquecen y no me sorprenderia nada que pidiesen tanques.

El bello y rico barrio de Kolonaki fué arrasado.

Como por ahora, tarde-noche algunos disturbios siguen sucediendo.

Back to the facts.

They boy was shot around 9.00. We went there around 10. After 12 people got on the Square to protest. Warriors were preparing themselves by breaking the ground and taking stones to use.

You were hearing the sound of smashing stones.

It's like a ritual.

The crowed who wanted to protest started moving to head to Omonia.

But all the streets were blocked by armed police powers.

Fire blocks had been made every where.

People got the weapons and started kicking them throwing stones and fire bombs to make them leave the neigborhood.

From 12 till 2.30 over 1000 people gathered heading to Omonia and fights were having place in every street. Police went home around 4.30. The fights stopped.

Sunday morning 11.00 people gathered to protest about the death of the boy of the officer.

The demonstration lead to a total burn and smashing of almost evry property (Banks, Stores) in Alexandras Avenue.

Protesters got away from the chemical weapons and went into Exarchia.
In Exarchia they fought with the Police Powers in the Streets till late night.

The streets are cut from traffic and you can only see riots and places on fire through the empty street.
Monday

Morning school kids on the streets.

Demonstrations.

Already Universities are taken.

A station from the underground gets taken too.
All greek cities are on the street.
A lot of police departments get attacked.

18.00 people gather at the city center for a demonstration.
The crowd keeps getting bigger and starts going to the Parliament through Omonia Square.

Everything gets broken down and on fire.

Banks first. Shops. Record Stores. Zara and shit like that, weapon shops, Kiosks, 5 star Hotels, theaters.
In Omonia the National Bank gets on fire.

People try to break in.

After the distraction of all Panepistimiou street,the demonstration keeps on moving throught the city it's over 10,000 people some say 15,000.

Every single thing in the way gets broked and burnt. Plaza hotel and the Grant Britain Hotel get attacked by multiple firebombs.

Cars get on fire.

The ministry of Cops gets attacked.
The ministry of Economics gets attacked.
Another police station gets attacked.

After the demonstration end the people throw in the streets destroying every shop in Central Athens.A lot of buildings got on complete fire and out of control. The Greek Lawyers Union gets burnt too.
Firemen on panic everywhere.

I go by the square where people drink beer watching the fire.

Riots around the neighbohood.
The sub burns begin to get on fire too.
The Dean of University of Athens quits.
The minister of Cops says they're doing good.

15 year old kids are crushing the town down destroying 50 year old guys' property.

The preservatives ask for more Police.
Shop owners get crazy i would not be surprised if they'd ask the tanks.

Fansy rich neighborhood Kolonaki gets broken.
As for now, late-late night some riots are still
going on.

Revisan la calle, el número, sí, están en el lugar correcto. Llaman a la puerta. Y abre una cara extraña. Y Vds. preguntan, ¿es éste mi hogar? ¡Pero si éste es mi hogar! Y la cara extraña les dice que se vayan al infierno, que ya no tienen ahí casa alguna.

Entonces van y rodean la casa, el edificio, la tienda, la chabola, lo que sea, y se pellizcan a sí mismos… y dicen: Juraría que ésa era mi casa y que éste era mi barrio. Entonces la realidad les golpea: ya no tienen casa alguna.

Si son de ese tipo de ciudadanos que creen en el imperio de la ley, van a ver a las “autoridades”, que se burlan de Vds. o les ofrecen 300$ como compensación. Vds. sacuden la cabeza con incredulidad y dicen: pero eso no puede ser. Por tanto, deciden buscar un abogado.

Les dicen que cuidado con quien vayan a escoger como abogado, porque todos los abogados honestos están fuera del país y pueden caer en las garras de algún charlatán, algún sectario hijo de perra que se llevará todo su dinero y les dejará sin blanca. Pero de todas formas lo intentan, sabiendo ya que las posibilidades son nulas. Porque NO HAY IMPERIO DE LA LEY EN UN PAIS OCUPADO DONDE REINA LA ANARQUIA.

O cojamos otro ejemplo. Vd. tiene una parcela o algunas propiedades y su padre, o su hermana, o su hermano, o su madre, o su hija, o su sobrino, o su tío, o su tía… fueron secuestrados y torturados por los escuadrones de la muerte que USTEDES [ocupantes] pusieron en marcha, y le piden un rescate. Por eso Vd. vende su casa, tierra, propiedades, chabola, tienda, lo que sea, para pagar a sus secuestradores con tal de que les liberen. Si no tiene dinero, lo pide prestado. Pero después tiene que devolverlo. Por eso tiene que vender todo lo que posea. ¿Y qué pasa si quiere regresar?

Desde el momento en que la cogieron por la fuerza, ¡¿por qué iban a comprarla?! Así que Vd. va, empaqueta sus maletas y emigrar a Occidente a algún país/burdel abandonado de la mano de Dios.

Eso es lo que sucedió y lo que está sucediendo con nuestros hogares desde que decidieron “liberarnos”.

If those who took over your house are armed...you can kiss your house goodbye. They will not move. Unless they are willing to settle for big money. And if you don't have big money, you are screwed for good.

But there are more variations...

You leave your home, and you ask someone to look after it. That someone lost his home during your never ending "liberation", he moves in into yours. Then he is short of money or his relatives also lost their homes. So he rents out some rooms or brings in more people to live with him. So you return and you want your home back, what do you do with 3 to 4 families living there ? Where will they go ? Again you are screwed.

Or let's take another example. You have a land or some property and your father, sister, brother, mother, daughter, cousin, uncle, aunt...was kidnapped and tortured by the death squads that YOU had put in place, and they ask for a ransom. So you sell your house, land, property, hut, tent whatever it is - to pay your kidnappers for their release. If you don't have the money, you borrow. Then you have to reimburse. So you have to sell whatever it is you owned. And you want to return?
You can't. You are up to your neck in debts finishing off the payments and you have nothing to return to. Again you are screwed.

Let's take yet another example. You live on some plot of land, in a small house on the outskirts of Baghdad. You leave because they threatened to kill, rape or torture you. The minute you are gone, they come and set up their homes on your land. The area becomes all Shiite, you know you will never be able to go back to that land. So what do you do? You try to sell it hoping that those who took it will buy it. Since they took it by force why should they buy it?! So you let go, and you pack your suitcases and apply for emigration to some God forsaken brothel country in the West.

This is what happened and what is happening to our homes since you decided to "liberate" us.

Do you understand now ? Fat chance. You will never understand.

But hey, you understood when an earthquake or a hurricane blew it over for you...did you not ? But at least you could blame a natural disaster for that.

Guess what assholes - you are a disaster for me, albeit a man made disaster.

And I pray to the Almighty, every time you put that key in that hole, and turn it, the door will remain shut and locked in your face(s).

LETS KILL YOUTUBE! WHY?

Why yes or why not? I dont know, but i think that YOUTUBE was a great place...
3 years ago, becose at this time i think that DAILYMOTION and VIMEO are a more
powerfull quality tools. YOUTUBE have the force of the numbers, but there are other places with more quality. I mean... from our perspective WHY shoot on Red One, HD or Cine cameras to compress everithing in a CRAPPPPPY youtube video?

Im only asking, only thinking about that, why YOUTUBE is using the strategy of
still using this LOW QUALITY? (ok they have improved, but JA!)

Today there are HD user cameras for 400€(500$) and this christmas are going to break on sales (with the new Nintendo DS and i hope Bluerays, its not only a professional need, now beggins to be a hobby need too.
